Homesteading and Homemaking with Bobby is hopefully back!

After a really long absence, I think I am back for a while. I hope you are all enjoying your winter, ours has just started the last couple of days. Up until then, the temps were flirting with 50s and almost 60. The harsh reality of sub zero temperatures, and 20 mile an hour winds with snow, is our new reality!

While I was gone, "Tootie" our beloved dog, passed away. She was 20 or better and we finally had to help her go home. We had her so long and she was such a loving part of our family. I haven't been able to talk about Toot since we had her put down. I didn't realize how much time I was spending in taking care of her special needs. Quite frankly, I was lost without her.

But, God sees us through the tough times. I have a new friend, "Fritz". You will be reading more about this youngster in the days ahead. He is quite a handful and the best company since, well since Tootie.

I'm sure you all have had trials and know that I am rooting for all of you. Let's start out this new year with some helpful suggestions and tips for others. What is working for you? Have you got something to shout about? Have a new/old recipe to share? How about a new product?

I look forward to you all contributing to the discussions...and as always, I pray you have a wonderful day!

til later...
